Before calling for service, you should check to see if the problem is with your telephone equipment, inside wiring or our line.  This can be done by opening the cover to the Network Interface Device (NID) located outside where the line comes into your home, removing the plug from the test jack and plugging in a working phone.

If you hear a dial tone, the problem is with your telephone equipment or inside wiring.  If there is no dial tone, the trouble may be with Dunbarton Telephone’s facilities.  Call our repair service at (603) 774-9941.

If our technician visits your home and the problem is with your telephone equipment or wiring, you will be charged a service fee.
